Our Pastor

Dr. Donnett M. Blake

"And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding."~Jeremiah 3:15.

Pastor Donnett Blake’s ministry in the Northeastern Conference of Seventh Day Adventists commenced in 2002, when she began serving as Chaplain of the Education department.

In 2007, Pastor Blake became the first female to be employed as Pastor in the Northeastern Conference, and was installed as the Assistant Pastor of the Kingsboro Temple of Seventh-day Adventists.

In October 2011 she was installed at the Shelter Rock Seventh-day Adventist (SDA) church and served until December 2016. With her vision, and God’s guidance, Shelter Rock experienced transformation spiritually, numerically and structurally. Pastor Blake’s desire was always for her flock to have an excellent relationship with Christ. This she demonstrated by her exemplary leadership.

In January 2017 and February 2017, she was installed at Triumphant Tabernacle Mission and New Dimension Church, respectively. She continues to serve with even greater passion.

Pastor Blake, originally from Jamaica, is a graduate of Andrews University with her Bachelors of Social Work, Masters of Divinity, and Doctor of Ministry degrees. Pastor Blake travels the world, proclaiming the living Christ to a dying people, the unchanging love of Christ in a changing world. Her mission is: “Reaching out to the community: preaching to the unsaved, teaching the saved to serve”.

One of the many texts that has given her encouragement through the years, is Isaiah 41:10. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
